Humboldt-Universität zu BerlinEvery year, well over 6,000 people decide to study at Humboldt University in the heart of Berlin. There is hardly any other place where you can choose from a similarly wide range of 190 courses.
As one of the first universities in the country, it began introducing bachelor's and master's degree programs in 2001.
The name Humboldt University is known worldwide, and the internationally recognized degrees open all doors for graduates.
Humboldt students complete their studies at the traditional institutes in Berlin-Mitte, on Campus-Nord or on the modern mathematical and scientific campus in Adlershof.
In the Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm Center, the university library with the largest open collection in the German-speaking region, and at other library locations, over two million books and periodicals can be used directly or ordered via the Internet.
Students can also take advantage of an exceptionally extensive range of activities outside of the teaching program. There are over 80 different sports groups at Humboldt University. The language center offers a variety of language courses. The offer is used by 10,000 students every year.
Far beyond the usual general and subject-specific advice, the Humboldt University offers a dense network of advice and support for its students - in legal, social and psychological areas, with childcare in Mitte and Adlershof or with special offers for top athletes, for example.
