Co-Founder - Music Industry Legal Tech

I'm Mariia Saveleva, CEO and co-founder of LegalMind AI (Lexi) - a Berlin-based legal tech startup focused on the music industry. I'm a music lawyer with 15+ years of experience, including Head of Business & Legal Affairs at Sony Music across 13 territories.

I'm looking for a co-founder who will build this with me - not just advise or execute, but genuinely own their part of the company.

What I'm working on: We're in active customer discovery with music industry professionals (labels, publishers, DSPs, artists) to identify a burning pain worth solving with AI. Early signals are strong. Discovery deadline: July 21.

What I'm looking for in a co-founder: - Technical background and/or experience in the music industry with a strong understanding of operations and product. - You have built and shipped something before, ideally in a startup environment. Not your first rodeo: you know what early stage really looks like. - Drive and initiative: you find solutions, not reasons why something will not work. - Ready to be present: pitches, events, client meetings. - Based in Berlin (preferred) or open to relocating. - Equity: 30 to 50% depending on structure.

What I bring: — Deep music industry expertise and growing reputation in the Berlin startup ecosystem — Legal and business affairs knowledge across 13 territories — Active accelerator network (MediaTech Hub, Grace, AI Nation) — The hustle - I work until the job is done

If you have burning eyes and want to build something real - let's talk.

About the Job

Co-founding opportunity in music legal tech. Equity 30 to 50%. I bring 15 years of music industry expertise, business development and hustling. You bring technical depth and product thinking.

As co-founder you will own the product and technical direction from day one. You will work directly with me on customer discovery, shape what we build and for whom, and turn validated pain into a product people pay for. This is not an execution role. This is a founding role with real ownership.
