Details
Büffel is the only first-level support for people being endangered, when they cannot call the police, by a trusted and qualified community with later on police integration. The personal safety market is fragmented. Nora requires seven clicks under threat. SafeNow and Sirene alert only predefined contacts who may be miles away (Safenow also qualified help in certain areas). Each is a point solution. Büffel is the only end-to-end workflow. From silent alarm to nearby friends and verified helper on scene to structured police dispatch, without a break in the chain. The USP rests on five elements no competitor combines. A trained community of verified helpers nearby; planned police integration replacing the unstructured 110 call with real-time operational data; a reputation score ensuring only trusted responders receive alerts; a reward system sustaining motivation over time, turning civil courage into habit; and domain knowledge from six years of active police service embedded in every design decision. Nine in ten incidents resolve when a neutral third party arrives. Büffel makes that happen in under 2 minutes.

About the Job
As Marketing Co-Founder you own the full marketing strategy from day one, brand definition, audience identification, campaign development, and user acquisition.
We believe a world where helping each other is the standard and not the exception. Büffel creates a global network of immediate support, using technology to unify community response and reward everyday heroes for making public spaces safer. You join as Co-Founder and own marketing from day one. This is a hands-on role across all of the following: Go-to-Market — You develop and own the GTM strategy for product and features, define target audiences, and measure adoption across every launch. Community Building — Build an active helper community that roots Büffelruf in cities and neighbourhoods. Local activation, partnerships with associations, schools, and aid organisations. Performance Marketing — Drive user acquisition through paid social, PPC, and SEO with clear metrics: cost-per-acquisition, ROAS, and retention. You optimise in real time, not quarterly. Organic Growth & Content — Founder-led and community-led content on Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn that builds trust and turns users into multipliers. You understand how safety content can be human, not scary. Brand Positioning — Develop a brand language that charges civil courage emotionally — without selling fear. This is the hardest and most important part of the role. Consumer Research — You own user research, market validation, and direct conversations with the target audience to surface pain points and feed insights back into the product. Influencer & PR — Identify micro-influencers and multipliers in the safety and civil courage space for organic reach without a large media budget.

It is the kind of product that generates organic word-of-mouth because the mission resonates.
